For dogs eight weeks and older, these 45 minute to one hour classes are an introduction to socialization for puppies and teach their owners how to train puppies to sit, down, and walk comfortably on a loose leash. Topics such as house breaking, teething, and nutrition are discussed.
BASIC OBEDIENCE CLASSES
These one hour weekly classes for six weeks are available to dogs four months and older. The six basic commands are taught: heel on leash, stand for examination, recall, sit, down, and stay. This course involves homework and behavior handouts. The goal of this class is to pass the American Kennel Club's Canine Good Citizen Test.
ADVANCED OBEDIENCE CLASS
Graduates of the Basic Obedience Course may participate in six weeks of these one hour weekly classes. This course offers more precise instructions for the handler and dogs on the six basic commands plus off-lead work .
BEHAVIOR CONSULTATION
For those pet owners who might have a specific problem with their dog, a one hour private session is offered.
CANINE GOOD CITIZEN TEST
The goal of this test, which is offered to graduates of WEBAPO's Basic and Advanced classes, is to demonstrate that your dog can be a respected member of your community by passing the ten obedience exercises of the American Kennel Club's Good Citizen Test.
AGILITY CLASSES
This the most fun that you can have with your dog. Agility increases the bonding between you and your dog. It is available to dogs who have completed a Basic Obedience Course.
